Charlotte, NC has a dynamic, growing business environment filled with opportunities for SQL Server professionals. The goal of the Charlotte SQL Server User Group is to encourage and support the growth of that environment by providing a venue for user education and peer collaboration.

Scott Brooks – Director of Hosting Services, Peak 10. Peak 10 is Charlotte’s largest independent data center operator and managed services provider. Scott has been working with SQL Server for over ten years and has considerable connections throughout the Charlotte SQL Server Community.
Scot Daniels - Manager, Enterprise Engineering and Architecture – Microsoft SQL Server, Bank of America. A recognized leader in the global financial industry, Bank of America is also supportive of local communities through volunteer projects. Scot is involved in architecting the database technology processes, standards, and information protection designs that are followed by Bank of America worldwide. He has 15 years of experience in programming, administration and engineering drawn from the US Army and Bank of America.
Jason Hall – Software Developer, SQL Sentry Inc. Jason is one of the developers at SQL Sentry which is located in the Charlotte suburbs near Lake Norman. Jason is MCSE and MCSD certified. He has been a software developer for 11 years and previously worked at Wachovia Bank and The Sara Lee Corporation. Jason understands the challenges in developing with SQL Server and has connections with most of the area’s leading developers.
Sassan Karai – SQL Server consultant, Intellinet. Sassan has deep roots in the Charlotte SQL Server community. He had previously been a member of the SQL Server Support team at Microsoft’s support center. Sassan also worked at TIAA-CREF, which has one of the largest SQL Server enterprises in the area.
Andy Leonard – Architect, Unisys Corporation, SQL Server database and Integration Services developer, SQL Server MVP and engineer. He is a co-author of several technical books. Andy founded and manages VSTeamSystemCentral.com and maintains two blogs there: Applied Team System and Applied Business Intelligence. He also blogs for SQLBlog.com . Andy's background includes web application architecture and development, VB, and ASP; SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); data warehouse development using SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008; and test-driven database development. Andy serves the user group as our Regional Mentor from the Professional Association of SQL Server (PASS).
Sergey Pustovit - SQL Escalation Engineer, Microsoft. As member of SQL Server Escalation Services Sergey works on most challenging technical issues, interacts closely with SQL Development team working on problem resolutions and providing product feedback. He has 15 years of industry experience, working with distributed database systems, designing and developing business solutions for the financial industry.
